Right now I have a working setup with CSI 1.0 but without this thinking around buttons, so I wasn't keen onīreaking it up and build a new setup without knowing it should work.īut hearing this from you makes me want to try it again, and even go all-in and use CSI 1.1. So I'd give it another go if you havent already and get back to us here with more info/problems you ran into. I'm not sure to be honest, that's one of the basic things in CSI. MixMonkeys osc template does some pretty cool things as far as this type of button organization goes.Īs far as why it didnt work. Of course you are free to organize it however you want. If you do that though you would have to have those modifier definitions in every one of those zones. That way you have more freedom/expandability. What I might try though is using a modifier for all your navigation needs. Zon I am in? A long time ago I made a try but gave up after someĮach time you go to a zone, whatever widgets that are defined in that zone will override anything that was on those widgets before that. To have different actions on F-buttons depending on which I am a CSI 1.0 user (soon 1.1 user) and I wonder if its possible Here's the link to the changes from 1.0 to 1.1 I may be wrong, but I don't think you want that since you only have 1 track on your surface. The other thing I see is that you "Channel Start Position" = 1, when I believe it should be "0".Īnd I think you do not have to select "Reaper GUI Follows Surface". Not sure if you saw this already, but things change from 1.0 to 1.1. 1 text file for BUTTONS zone, 1 text file for CHANNEL Zone, etc. Where before my main Zone FILE had the HOME zone and the BUTTONS Zone and the CHANNEL Zone, etc. Funkybot actually created a great page on the wiki about this. I believe you have to split your individual Zones into individual Zone Files. I do get response from MIDI-OX, and it works when using the Faderport driver included with Reaper, so it's not the surface itself. Using the stock 1.0 versions of the zones and surfaces. The issue- I still am getting 0 response. I went through the FaderportV2 surface that's included in 1.0 and it matches what my Faderport is putting out. CSI 1.0 has the full list of included surfaces. Okay, partly solved the issue- CSI 1.1 has just a few of the zones and surfaces.
